My report for day 10 & 11 the traffic competition
My Google Analytic Stats can be viewed here for the 27th & 28th Dec
http://kotobot.com/gastats/gastats2728.pdf
One of my favourite forms of advertising to generate traffic is offline advertisings.
The most common sources I use are newspapers, magazines, and do not forget buy and sell.
I always get a return on investment of 2 to 5 times the ad cost, with a simple 2 liner
One line for the tempter and one line for the URL.
e.g.
How to work & earn from home
www.kotobot.com
Sometimes I will use a landing page with 4, 6 or 8 affiliate offers, but I always make sure I have an opt in box.
This can result in 40 to 50 optins and a couple of affiliate sales a day.
Another option I use is what I call bricks & mortar joint venture.
One recent example was when I featured 10 resturants.
They each paid €300 for their slot, they supplied me their graphics, text and reviews and special offer.
On the left of the page was my optin box for home business.
What has home business got to do with restaurants you ask?
The only thing I can think of is people that are interested in home business are also interested in dinning out:
It returned a large amount of optins and some of them converted to sales.
I spent €2000 on advertising, so that left €1000 profit from the restaurant revenue.
The restaurants were happy with the response they got and will be JV again with me in 2 months.
You can do this with nearly all business; retail, entertainment, home improvements, beauty & health products, etc…
Now imagine having 30 of these running at the same time and your optin box for your list on all of them.
Keep well & prosper

Hey Jim and Des!
I was on twitter and saw your twit saying that you had put up a new page so I thought I would pop right over. Wow… I can’t believe the traffic you have driven to this page!! You are amazing! I am going to go look at my google analytics after this… I wish it would look like yours. Amazing!
I also liked your tips on driving traffic. I haven’t really considered putting something in the paper. Humm… that is something I am going to check into for sure.
Again, amazing stats! You guys rock!
Have a great New Year, and see you in the Webinar!

Hi Jim,
Your traffic report is helpful and I’m implementing some of your suggestions.
I joined the networking forum and the traffic exchange for blogs yesterday.
You’re well organized and using Module 1 efficiently.
Happy new year,
Theresa

Hi Jim,
I learned more about getting traffic in 5 minutes on your blog than I have learned in a month from other blogs. What a great resourse. I am already trying the blog exchange and the Feedjit link. One of my resources is ListTwister.com. When I jopined I took the OTO and am able to send 14oo emails every 3 days to the membership. The problem is I am not keeping track of how many emails (if any) are opened. I plan on visiting your blog everyday to get more ideas on traffic grnerqtion. Can you please add me to the list of the Fortunate 500.
Have a Happy New Year,
Bob Allison

Hi Jim!
Amazing results you have on your site. The only way I got those results on my blog was when I spent 40 bucks buying some traffic. But out of those 10.000 people visiting my site non was really targeted is seams like.
Offline advertisement is a good thing too. We should all fish from every side of the boat to get traffic.
I find your tips a good resource and I will link you up to my site at once.

Hi Jim,
Great site you’ve got here.
Thanks for reminding me I really do have to do the interview with Mark Call now I’ve added my name to the list.
By the way - did you know you’ve only put one “c” in the Success in your header? (used to be a teacher - sorry)

Hi Jim
Very impressive traffic results. You may already be a winner of the sweepstakes.
I am not even close to that.
Where do you run these ads? Newspapers? Magazines? Have you ever used ezine newsletters?
