Google and Page Rank

January 13th, 2009 · 7 Comments

When posting your websites to a blog or website, try to find sites with a Google page rank.
Sites with a good Google page rank get crawled by the Google spider more often.
The higher the rank the more they get spidered, and the quicker they get indexed on Google.
So if your site URL is on one of these sites you will be indexed on Google quicker.

It will also help you to get a Google page rank of your own fairly quick.
This blog was set up on 5 December 2008 it was a new site with a new domain name.
By 3 January 2009 it had a Google page rank of 2. This now means I get spidered by Google many times a day, so new content will be indexed fairly quickly by Google.

You can check out websites Google page ranking on numerous Web resource sites.
There are many of these, below is a link to one, just enter the URL name and it will give you the rank for that site.

You can also download an application for your browser that would show you the rank of the site you are on.

I found you on Twitter this evening and found your site to be full of great information.

I am a new blogger and started my blog about the same time you did yet your results are way beyond mine.

I will stay tuned and learn more.

    Thanks

    Hello Jim
As Harry said, you’ve got some great information here.

I tried the Page Rank finder and was a bit disappointed that I haven’t ranked at all with my blog. But, as I said in a post I’ve done on my blog about the subject, it helps me to realise I should be spending more time in building traffic than developing new products.

Congratulations on your recent win. You obviously have done a lot of work to get so much traffic.

Hope you’re writing an ebook about it!!
    Best Wishes
    Joe

    Hi Jim,

Great stuff here. How do we get our blog url on websites that have high google page rank, bro. I am a bit new on this. Still building the traffics to my blog. It’s been a slow process.

Thanks again and let me know bro when you reply this. Please let me know as I am struggling in this area.
